Saturday May 3rd: MayFest Music Day

MayFest Busking Saturday
This year we are thrilled to introduce the MayFest Buskers’ Saturday! We’ve got some brilliant musicians from across Yorkshire and the North East who will be performing at various spots around the town - including at the Castle and at The Station. They will all have their ‘hats’ down for your contributions!
Our buskers will start around 9am in the Market Place with other venues added through the day, with the last performances ending at around 3pm.
Follow the trail in the programme to make sure you see everyone!
Buskers’ Saturday has been supported by the family of the young musician Nell Cline Smith who loved performing on stage to large audiences and in the streets. She also loved visiting Richmond. Learn more at nellsmithmusic.com and enjoy the wonderful musicians sharing their talents with you today.
