The MayFest Parade in the morning, loads of storytelling and dramatic goings on all over the place. Plus new this year - traditional fairground rides and games in the Market place. And of course - More music!

May Fair at the Castle

The May Fair is generously sponsored by the Company of Mercers, Grocers & Haberdashers, the Richmond Civic Society and YorSafety

Locals - don’t forget that DL9, DL10 and DL11 residents get free admission to Richmond Castle all weekend - just bring proof of address.

  • MayFest Women Aloud - a repeat of last year’s riproaring success, this is an afternoon event for women and younger children only, at the Catholic Church Hall. Bring and share food, and come with ideas for games!
